1 €The Cisco QSFP100 ER4-Lite module supports channel lengths of up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (G.652, SMF) with duplex LC connectors. A 100 Gigabit Ethernet signal is transmitted over four wavelengths. Achieving the maximum range of 40 km requires the use of FEC (forwarding error correction) on the host platform. Without FEC, the range is 30 km.
